Mr. Tinder is a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Master Instructor (highest instructor rating within California) and has researched, developed, designed, consulted and approved hundreds of courses throughout his career. Mr. Tinder is part of a specialized cadre of instructors who facilitate the Academy Instructor Certification Course (AICC) throughout California. This course focuses on student-centered learning techniques for new and experienced instructors. This is a mandated course to instruct within a California law enforcement academy. Additionally, Mr. Tinder is part of the CA POST Quality Assessment Program Team where he evaluates CA POST certified courses for content and delivery. The emphasis, during the evaluations, is being placed on delivering current, relevant curriculum in a manner conducive to adult learning.
Mr .Tinder has reviewed hundreds of training courses, focusing on the delivery, purpose, accuracy, content, and learning verification methods, etc. His attention to detail is extraordinary as he compares all documentation against the course goals, outcomes, etc.
